What we collect

Your email address and password, so you can sign in. Passwords are stored scrambled, and nobody can read them.

The display name you choose, and what you do in your pools: the groups you join, your picks, tiebreakers, standings, and burger balances.

Basic technical records our hosting services keep, like IP addresses and browser types, to run the site and keep it secure.

How we use it

To run your pools: signing you in, saving picks, grading weeks, and showing standings. We don't sell your information.

The site doesn't show ads yet. If that changes, this page will be updated first to say which ad partners are used and how to opt out.

Who can see what

People in your group see your display name, your standings, and your burger balance. They see your picks only once those picks lock.

Your group's commissioners also see the pool's history, including picks they changed. The app's admin can see everything, to fix problems.

Cookies and storage

A cookie keeps you signed in. The site also remembers on your device if you've hidden the Get the app banner. There are no tracking cookies.

Services we rely on

Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts the site. Game schedules, scores, and lines come from ESPN and The Odds API; none of your information is sent to them.

Keeping and deleting your information

Your information stays while your account exists. You can ask to delete your account at any time; see the Contact page.

Kids

Tailgate Pools is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
