Terms

Last updated September 15, 2026

The rules for using Tailgate Pools, in plain English. How the site handles your information is on the Privacy page.

What Tailgate Pools is

Tailgate Pools runs NFL office pools (pick'em, survivor, squares, and Fantasy Bracket) for fun. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

The site is in beta. Features can change, and things can break while it's being built.

Burgers are play money

Burgers have no cash value. They can't be bought, sold, traded for anything, or cashed out, and the site never handles real money.

Tailgate Pools isn't a gambling service. Don't use burgers, pools, or results to settle real-money bets.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Your account

Use your own email, keep your password private, and pick a display name that's fine for your office to see. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

Playing fair

Don't cheat, use bots, try to get around the site's rules or security, or harass other players.

Each group's commissioners run its pools. They can change settings, fix picks with a reason, and remove players, and every change is recorded in the pool's history.

We can remove content, pools, or accounts that break these terms.

Scores, lines, and stats

Schedules, scores, betting lines, and player stats come from outside sources, including ESPN, The Odds API, and Sleeper. They can be late or wrong.

When a score or stat gets corrected, results and burgers can change to match, even after a pool pays out.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available, error-free, or keep every bit of data. As far as the law allows, Tailgate Pools isn't responsible for losses that come from using it.

Not affiliated with the NFL

Tailgate Pools isn't connected to or endorsed by the NFL or any team. Team names and colors are used only to identify games.

Changes and leaving

These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top of this page changes too, and using the site after that means you accept the new terms.

You can stop using Tailgate Pools and ask to delete your account at any time; see the Contact page.
